Diagnostic of hydraulic system condition

Diagnostic is done by Parker’s portable turbine SKIT-340 PTQ which measures pressure (as well as differential), flow, temperature, and the pump drive shaft speed if needed. After these measuring, the condition of hydraulic system can be precisely defined, and the effect of system operating in optimal lower temperatures is avoided, and when it heats up, it slows the operating of executive cylinders (translational and rotary cylinders-hydraulic motors). The work of pumps, distributors, safety valves and cylinders (hydraulic motor), that is, each component of the system can be tested. According to the received results, overhaul (replacement) of the part that doesn’t work as it should, is underway, or workover of the same part is planned if it only partially fulfills the wanted parameters.

Measuring device Parker, label PTQ-340 SCKIT measures:

  • working fluid flow value up to 150 l/min (turbine “Parker” SCFT 150)
  • pressure up to 450 bars ( pressure sensor “Parker” SCPT 400)
  • working fluid flow value up to 300 l/min (turbine “parker SCFT 600)
  • working fluid flow value up to 750 l/min (turbine “parker SCFT 600)
  • pressure up to 600 bars (pressure sensor “Parker” SCPT 600
  • speeds of rotating assemblies 10000min -1
  • temperatures of working fluid up to 500° C

All parameters are measured parallel and they are compared graphically and tabular. The device is mounted in series on piping system and can simulate the load of executive component. This way, the tightness can be measured and degree of utilization of the measured device as a whole with possibility to test each component in installation separately.
